Ground Maintenance Operatives - Strimmer & Brush Cutter / Chainsaw / Chipper
ST Neots and Surrounding Area
**Hourly rate - £14 - 18 an hour + Vehicle + Travel time paid for! **
This role will be working for a sub-contractor who have a great cliental to work in a team doing different ground maintenance (grass cutting, strimming, brush cutting etc.)
The work required is all night work but travel time/ expenses are all paid for and a vehicle will be provided.
Ground Operatives Job Role:
- General maintenance, such as grass trimming, hedge cutting, clearing leaves and verges
- Tree care
- Ground maintenance
- Operate light plant and power tools
- Undertake vehicle, tractor, and cutting equipment checks
Experience required for the Ground Operatives:
- Full driving licence
- Knowledge/ Experience of gardening / grounds maintenance
- Experience in operating light plant and equipment (essential)
- Chipper (essential)
- Chainsaw Trees CS30/CS31 (essential)
- Strimmer (essential)
- Clearing Saw Tractor and Side Arm Flail (desirable)
Not all of the tickets above are required but in a team of 3 at least 3 of the 4 tickets are required e.g. (Chainsaw, Strimmer and Chipper).
