Continuing the successful growth of the Human Factors Team within our clients business we are looking for another experienced Human Factors consultant to meet business demand.
Working within a variety of diverse project teams you will be operating at the Human Factors Technical Lead level delivering Human Factors work programmes.
You will also have the opportunity to undertake research into a range of Human Factors related topics directly for the wide range of clients across sectors.
Degree level education in Human Factors or Ergonomics and previous experience in a consultancy position.
Chartered status with the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (or equivalent experience).
This position is perfect for somebody with a breadth of technical knowledge in Human Factors Engineering and experience of reviewing and verifying the work of others.
The ability and desire to provide technical leadership on Human Factors areas within projects to junior members of the team is highly desirable.
The role requires a deep understanding of the role of Human Factors within multi-disciplinary projects and the ability to plan and deliver Human Factors activities as part of a wider reaching programme.
We would be very interested in you if you have experience of integrating Human Factors domains within other engineering and project related services.
Ability to develop Human Factors strategies within complex projects, from both a technical and commercial perspective.
Ability to manage projects from a technical and commercial perspective and to give specific direction to others on how to complete well-defined tasks and monitor performance within a project.
Identify and support business development opportunities.
Possess an excellent understanding and track record of undertaking formal HF analyses as applied to engineering projects.
Ability to form and maintaining strong positive working relationships with clients.
Contribute to the overall vision and strategy for the Human Factors group.
Experience of implementing human factors strategies across a wide range of safety critical industries is desirable, this could be in Defence, Rail, Nuclear Power or Automotive projects.
For this position you must be eligible for UK MOD Security Clearance, to achieve this you must have UK Citizenship.
