What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the HV / LV Engineer will include:
- Executing the defined planned maintenance regime for all contractual obligations within the energy centres and network substations.
- Overseeing and conducting HV/LV related activities, including switching and managing the Safe System of Work (SSOW) on-site.
- Demonstrating the ability to maintain plant and equipment to agreed specifications and operation.
- Collaborating with the company-appointed HV maintenance provider under the agreed COMA.
- Performing repairs, reactive maintenance, and minor installation works on plant and equipment.
- Attending, diagnosing, and repairing faults with due regard to customer care in this specific environment.
- Conducting proactive plant monitoring activities to ensure efficient utilization of plant and equipment.
What experience you need to be the successful HV / LV Engineer:
- Qualified HV Authorised Electrical Technician
- Emergency 1st Aid at Work Trained and in date
- 18th Edition essential, 2391 preferred
- Fault-finding and practical skills
- Experience in heat-raising plant and associated equipment
- Experience in chilling plant and associated equipment
- Ability to work unsupervised and function as part of a team
- Essential: Driving Licence
