The Role:
So, what will you be doing as an ILS Manager?
- Lead a team of engineers through the full lifecycle of a cutting-edge SONAR system, from design through to delivery and support.
- Take ownership of a key support contract, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the development and execution of Technical Assessment Forms (TAFs) and oversee the creation and delivery of robust Work Packages.
- Scope, resource, and define ongoing and future engineering work packages to meet strategic and operational goals.
- Own and maintain a range of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) documentation, ensuring all deliverables are completed to the highest standard.
- Provide support in areas such as safety, environmental protection, and regulatory compliance, as needed.
What are we looking for in our next ILS Manager?
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in engineering leadership within complex system development-preferably SONAR or similar defence/naval systems.
- Strong project and team management skills, with the ability to manage technical work packages and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Experience with ILS documentation and familiarity with safety and environmental compliance processes.
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment, balancing technical detail with big-picture thinking.
