Information Assurance Engineer

Brief
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide hands-on, 7 x 24 x 365 operational capabilities to the network security infrastructure across the globe. Security operations activities include successfully maintaining network security appliances, internet perimeter security systems, cloud security, infrastructure security controls, security documentation, diagrams and procedures.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Information Assurance Engineer will include:
- Demonstrated working knowledge of firewall and cloud technologies
- Demonstrated TCP/IP Networking experience
- Ability to work a flexible, off hours schedule to accommodate customer maintenance windows
- Willingness to carry an on-call cell phone after hours
What experience you need to be the successful Information Assurance Engineer:
- In-depth Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco or Juniper Firewall experience
- Experience with Unix or Linux Operating Systems
- Experience with Enterprise Cloud Service vendor technology including AWS, Azure and Google
- Experience with ZScaler Proxy and Zero Trust products
- Experience with Cyber Risk Assessment Tools such as CyRIS
- Ability to obtain a DOD Secret level clearance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in math, computer science, physics, information assurance or engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a teaming environment
