Infrastructure Administrator
My client is a leading financial services organisation based in Epsom, Surrey who are recruiting for a Infrastructure Administrator.
As a Infrastructure Administrator you will have a cloud first approach and be certified with both Azure Administration and Windows Server Admin.
As a Infrastructure Administrator you will also be well versed with AWS / Windows 365 / Exchange Online / SharePoint Online / VMWare and hands on Azure cloud migration.
Along with hands on commercial expeirence of installations and configuration of virtual infrastructures.

Infrastructure Administrator Responsibilities:
- Install & maintain physical and virtual infrastructure assets (Server & Networking)
- Installation and configuration of Virtual Server Assets and Operating systems.
- Configuration and maintenance of Azure cloud services and virtual infrastructure
- Azure tenancy administration
- Migration of infrastructure assets and systems to Azure cloud platform
- SQL Database Infrastructure administration on-prem and SaaS deployments
- Azure Storage and capacity planning, backup and Disaster Recovery
- In-conjunction with the Change Manager ensure CMDB artifacts are maintained and accurate
- Providing support to the Service Desk for Infrastructure incidents and escalations
- Support architecture team
- Maintain Infrastructure diagrams
- In conjunction with the change manager ensure changes and maintenance windows are effectively enacted.
Infrastructure Administrator Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience working in a regulated environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Pro-active, detail focused, can-do attitude
- Azure Administration experience & certifications - Must Have
- Working knowledge of AWS
- Working knowledge of networking and desire to develop skill set
- Good hands-on experience of Microsoft technology and terminology
- Windows 365
- Exchange Online - Must Have
- Windows Server deployment and maintenance (Windows Server Administration certification) - Must Have
- VMware ESX and Horizon VDI Platforms
- Azure Cloud Migration - Hands on experience
- SQL Server
- SharePoint Online - Must Have
- Infrastructure monitoring tools (ManageEngine, SolarWinds N-able, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Infrastructure security, DLP & MFA
