Installation Supervisor

Brief
Installation Supervisor needed for a well-known full fibre broadband provider. My client has recently secured £250 million pound in investment and expanding massively so you would very much be joining at the right time. They are on the look out of an Installation Supervisor based in Harrogate who are experienced at ensuring that work is completed in accordance with all relevant specifications (e.g. Openreach, NRSWA etc).
The successful candidate must have previous experience in supervising teams of 6+ Installation Engineers along with an excellent knowledge of fibre blowing - If you have your NRSWA ticket that would be a plus!

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Installation Supervisor will include:
- In-progress safety checks on engineers
- First point of enquiry for engineers
- Providing technical expertise in the field
- Conducting toolbox talks
- Completing van audits and stock checks
- Completing street works auditing
- A55 screening and writing
- Providing On-site training to engineers
- Ensure that correct site setup is adhered to - which will be part of site checks to be completed
- Ensuring and checking day to day quality on the ground
- Providing Installation manager support and leave cover when required
- Ensuring Highway's compliance
- Will be required to work on the tools as required
- General on site and field supervision
- Team coach
- Drive the use of systems within the team to optimize efficiency
- Drive testing and 'right first time'
- Investigate low light and technical problems with network
- SME of installations
What experience you need to be the successful Installation Supervisor:
- NRSWA supervisor Certificate
- Experience in telecoms residential fibre installations
- Excellent knowledge of fibre blowing
- Experience of supervising teams of 6+ engineers
- Excellent understanding of fibre infrastructure
- Knowledge and understanding of site/work audits
- Excellent understanding of PIA infrastructure and rules
- Gold user of test equipment and tooling
- UG experience
- OH/climbing experience
- IPAF 1B
- Excellent 'in the field' problem solving abilities
- Full Driving License that permits you to drive a vehicle in the UK
