Integration Engineer
Integration Engineer required by a global leader in secure payments and trusted transactions, to be based out of their Scottish office. The Integration Engineer will primarily work on projects designed to deliver the benefits of the company services to customers. Taking direction from Project Managers, the Integration Engineer has significant responsibility for configuration of Applications, integration with 3rd parties, preparation of systems environments and for test activities.
The successful Integration Engineer will have a good grounding in IT - 2nd or 3rd line support / engineering experience or graduates with a desire to build upon their IT related degree in a customer facing role.

Your day-to-day responsibilities as an Integration Engineer include:
- Work closely with Shared Platform Operations and R&D teams to ensure the delivery of Solution Requirements at each stage of the project lifecycle.
- Support 3rd party vendors to integrate solutions into their systems.
- Analyse, specify and deliver technical environments and external integration requirements to support successful project delivery.
- Engage with Acquirers to determine Acquirer Product Certification requirements.
- Support Test Team though system and certification testing.
- Lead and support the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure technical readiness for transition to Service Management (Business As Usual Operational Support).
- Continuous assessment of personal workload and communication to Project Managers of potential deviations from plans. Attend off-site integration and customer meetings when required.
Essential skills for the Integration Engineer role;
- Graduate or demonstrated experience in suitable computer engineering discipline, - this role will suit a 2nd or 3rd line engineer looking to develop their career
- Development or technical support experience in a software industry, ideally in a customer facing role.
- Familiarity with Project Lifecycle and schedules.
- A background in technology and an understanding of IT concepts (networking, error logging, servers).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (both locally and internationally) from project inception to completion.
- Personal flexibility in changing work assignments and supporting occasional travel both in the UK and Europe, as required.
- Languages, English (mandatory), French (beneficial).
