An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning Engineer to join a market leading main contractor on a recently won exiting project based in Central Birmingham. The Planning Engineer will join an international construction company who have a reputation for their excellence in delivering high spec and technically challenging projects.
The Intermediate Planning Engineer will be site based in Central Birmingham on an exciting mixed use scheme comprising of commercial, residential and retail space valued at circa £250m. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for all the planning activities and working alongside the Project Manager and the site team to help ensure the projects is executed within time and budget.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Planning Engineer with strong site based construction experience to take a step up in responsibility and oversee the planning of this exciting project whilst being supported by the senior management team.
Candidate
- Experienced Planning Engineer with site based experience on similar type projects including residential, commercial, healthcare, mixed use development etc
- Hold a construction related qualification - HND/HNC/Degree
- Strong understand of the construction process and techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate the construction programme to the site team.
- Proficient user of planning software packages.
- Team player
On offer is a competitive salary of between £55-65,000 which is dependent upon experience plus a very attractive benefits package that includes a company car, pension, healthcare, life assurance, private medical, bonus, 27 days annual, flexible benefits scheme and other great benefits.
