Real Estate Investment Analyst & Associate, London
£45,000 - £70,000 + Bonus Package
Specialist real estate focused investment manager with multiple £bn of assets under management are hiring and looking to introduce an Investment Analyst and an Associate to their London based team where you will focus on investing in the UK and across Europe.
As Investment specialists you will carry out the following:
- Credit analysis of new transactions and existing exposures including attending tenant and / or borrower meetings
- Provide significant input into the development of effective funding strategies for transactions and businesses and undertake financial analysis to appraise the relative merits of each
- Research into and production of sector analysis for a range of industries with operational real estate
- Use financial models to support the development of financial structures, fund models, valuations, sensitivity and scenario analysis
- Supporting the origination team in the pricing of new transactions and preparing Investment Committee papers
- Assist in the development of new business, preparation of client presentations and support in marketing of new products
- Liaising with clients to support live transactions
- Investment reporting - produce factsheets and draft responses to ad hoc investor requests
- Supporting on internal corporate finance opportunities
Candidate Profile:
- Educated to at least degree level, preferably with a professional qualification (e.g. accountancy, actuarial, investment management / financial analysis)
- Highly numerate, with financial modelling skills together with high technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of real estate
- Ideally have had exposure to real estate debt finance
- Be able to put together 3 step cash flow models
- Confident producing credit analysis
- Experience of working within a transactional environment
