Are you an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic engineering consultancy? We are looking for a talented individual to join our team in Bristol, offering a hybrid work environment that combines office and remote work flexibility. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our IT systems while collaborating with a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive research to address various tasks, utilizing diverse knowledge sources effectively and independently.
• Execute quality checks, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of theoretical foundations within projects.
• Identify and address discipline-related issues that impact both immediate tasks and broader project dynamics.
• Contribute actively to project discussions, team meetings, and user interactions, showcasing your ideas and insights confidently.
• Make informed decisions under guidance, positively influencing project and team performance.

• Engage in effective communication with stakeholders, exhibiting desirable behaviors that encourage mutual understanding.
• Develop a deep understanding of user preferences, displaying curiosity to gather user requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Provide timely responses to user requests, collaborating with team members to resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements:

• Certified VMware associate or equivalent (Hyper-V) qualification.
• Certified Azure / M365 Administrator or equivalent hands-on experience.
• ITIL Foundation Certification or relevant experience within an ITIL aligned organization.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Certificate Services.
• Familiarity with Zscaler ZIA, ZPA & ZDX preferred; training can be provided.
• Proficiency in networking, utilizing Fortinet, Cisco & Dell Switching technologies.
• Desirable experience with Backup/Archiving Services, particularly Commvault technologies.
• Background in SAN administration, with exposure to Dell and/or Nutanix Technologies.
• Basic administration and understanding of SQL Services.
• Competence in DNS/DHCP or DDI management.
• Hardware management and support expertise for DELL hardware.
• Advantageous skills in PowerShell scripting.
