IT Manager

IT Manager required by a successful Managed Service Provider in the Knutsford area, supporting client's IT requirements throughout the UK. As the IT Manager, you will be providing support and guidance to the IT team and technical support to a wide and varied client base, maintaining a high level of communication and customer services at all times. This role would be ideal for a Technical Lead or IT Manager who has extensive experience running a small IT team.

The successful IT Manager will have a robust knowledge of how to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software related issues and if you have experience of working within managed service environment that would be a plus. Some of the main duties of the IT Manager will include:

• Provide 3rd line escalation point for the junior team.
• Support client with any technical queries
• Run reports for the IT team
• Liaise with sales team in quotes
• Perform onsite work / assist the Projects Team
• Roll out to clients and improving internal processes
• Proactive Support: using PSA and RMM

What experience you need to be a successful IT Manager:

• Microsoft Azure AD / Intune administration experience
• Windows Server up to 2019 active directory administration and installation experience
• Hyper-V administration and installation experience
• Network installation including switching, firewall and VLAN config
• Office 365, SharePoint
