The Company
My client is an established Contract Testing Organisation who have specialised over the last fifty years in extremely specialised pharmaceutical and medical device testing with emphasis on the microbiology and toxicology fields.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to to head up the companies new Analytical Chemistry Lab. The right candidate will be responsible for overseeing the validation of the new department in support of the chemical analysis and characterisation of medical devices.
The Candidate
The right candidate will need at least a BSc in Chemistry or a 'Chemistry heavy' subject and a strong, practical knowledge of Analytical Chemistry. eg analytical techniques for this role include HPLC, GC, Spectrophotometry and dissolution.
In addition they will also need to have a mininum of three years experience conducting chemical analysis of medical devices in a GMP/GLP (or equivalent) enviroment. The successful candidate will also be conversant with ICH guidelines and have experience of participating in associated audits.
