We are searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Solar PV Electrician to join a growing renewable energy asset management company as a Lead Electrician.
The Lead Electrician will be responsible for Solar PV operations and maintenance across the UK for commercial and industrial projects.
Job: Lead Solar PV Electrician
Location: Field Based / Oxford - Cambridge - Norfolk / UK
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
Benefits: Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Pension, Paid Overtime and Free On-Site Parking
Schedule: Monday - Friday + On-call Rota
Lead Electrician Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage on-site teams
- Conduct maintenance inspections and remedial works
- Conduct client meetings on-site
- Assist with managing and growing the electrical team
- Plan and design solutions and remedial works for Solar PV systems
Lead Electrician Requirements:
- Confident working at height
- Willingness to travel across the UK
- Previous experience working with Solar PV
- City & Guilds 2383 18th Edition
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing
- CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience using MEWPs and Mansafe systems (training can be arranged)
Lead Electrician Desired Requirements:
- Knowledge of MCS rules
- First Aid at Work
- Experience with data networks (RS485 / MODBUS)
- IPAF
