A fantastic opportunity for a Lead Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor on an exciting major £400m project in Manchester. The Planning Engineer will join a major name in the UK construction industry, an award winning company that specialist in delivering complex schemes.

The Lead Planning Engineer will be an expert in construction planning and be able to demonstrate previous experience leading teams on large technical projects. They will play a pivotal role in the delivery of this major mixed use scheme by working closely with the Project Director and ensuring the construction programme is communicated to the site team. They will be responsible for a small team so management experience would be preferable.

The Lead Planning Engineer will join a highly regarded name who have a solid pipeline of work, a business who offer great career development opportunities for ambitious individuals.

Candidate

• Demonstrate 10 years plus construction planning experience
• Expert in site based planning experience gained within a main contracting environment
• Solid understanding of construction processes and techniques
• Strong user of planning software packages
• Possess strong communication skills
• Previous management experience
• Team player

On offer is a competitive salary of between £80-90,000 per annum plus an attractive salary that includes a car allowance of £7,500, pension, healthcare, life assurance, private medical, flexible benefits scheme and other great benefits.
