The Client
My client is a UK based innovator and resarch organisation with nearly twenty years of supporting its clients adopt and benefit from new technology and knowledge. As a company, their core objectives are to enhance health, improve the environment and increase productivity across a range of high value industries.
The Role
Due to expansion, the client is looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and motivated scientific manager to lead a team of talented and dynamic upstream scientist who wishes to be involved in the research and development of a range of cutting edge projects. Leading multidisciplinary projects, the role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to provide expert technical support for the delivery of exciting, sometimes novel and complex projects against tight deadlines.
The Candidate
The successful candiate will have BSc, MSc or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline and at least five years experience in BioPharmaceutical upstream processes within an industrial context. They will have the expertise to develop methods, improve processes and provide trouble shooting expertise to solve complex technical problems. They should also have strong experience of managing both upstream production and multidisciplinary teams.
