£90,000 to £95,000 + car & package
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor in London delivering a £200m mixed use development. The Managing Quantity Surveyor will be taking responsibility for a large part of the project and you'll be required to develop a small team, work closely with the client and oversee the commercial and financial delivery of the programme.
The Managing Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with both the Project & Commercial Directors, taking the project from procurement through to final account negotiation. You'll be developing a small team of surveyors at various stages of their careers and some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the commercial and contractual control and co-ordination of works is inline with the project scope and companies operating procedures
- Lead a small team of Quantity Surveyors, assisting with their development and supporting them with the commercial delivery of the project
- Provide commercial and contractual advice and guidance to the wider project team
The successful Managing Quantity Surveyor will be given an opportunity that includes exposure to a large, high value, secured project, the support of an experienced leadership team and job security. You'll also be offered a generous salary & package that includes:
- Starting salary of £90,000 to £95,000

Managing Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have previous experience working on large new build projects with contract sums of more than £50m. You must also have previously worked for a main contractor or a large residential developer in the UK.
