An experienced MATLAB Software Engineer is required to play a key role in working as part of a team of developers, developing the next generation of acoustic measurement software within the maritime sector. You will be tasked with the re-design of existing software as well as creating brad new features in meeting the requirements of customers globally.
The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a MATLAB Software Engineer?
- Working in an Agile environment, you will undertake development activities using MATLAB GUI software program to record, analyse, verify and output tank test data from our wave machines and probes.
- Developing complex and UI intensive applications in MATLAB for Compiler deployment
- Object orientated design, patterns and implementation
- Developing and documenting software module designs
- Developing high quality, robust and production ready MATLAB code
- Design for test and developing automated tests in the MATLAB unit test framework
What are we looking for in our next MATLAB Software Engineer?
- Degree educated in a STEM Discipline
- Have previous experience developing in MATLAB with ideally some exposure to C++
- Experience in tackling challenging problems with innovative solutions.
