Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineers needed for a multinational utility's organisation based in Leeds, to utilise their in-depth knowledge to carry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures. If you have Healthcare experience that would be a plus!
The successful Mechanical Engineer would need to be able to maintain, test, service and repair a wide range of the building services listed below:
- Steam and condense systems
- Heating and domestic water services and associated isolation and control valves
- Building drainage systems
- Air conditioning plant and associated systems

Some of the main duties of the Mechanical Engineer will include:
- To provide a customer facing highly responsive maintenance service
- To undertake a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance tasks and carry these out to a very high standard
- To provide technical guidance, assistance and information to other members of the maintenance team
- Maintain records and complete service reports as appropriate.
- Carry out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works.
- Assist other skilled trades in carrying out maintenance, repairs, testing, inspection and installation work to increase the lifecycle of mechanical items.
- To work with a high level of multi-skilling and flexibility
What experience you need to be the successful Mechanical Engineer:
- Be able to maintain, test, service and repair a wide range of the building services listed below:
- Steam and condense systems
- Heating and domestic water services and associated isolation and control valves
- Building drainage systems
- Air conditioning plant and associated systems
- Qualified time engineer with minimum 3 years post apprenticeship experience required
- Healthcare experience desirable but not essential
- Cross-trade experience advantageous.
