Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Technician! If you have experience in aircraft structural assembly and a knack for working from engineering drawings, we want you. You'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge aerospace projects, marking out, drilling, riveting (both solid and blind fasteners), using Hi-locks, and bonding faying surfaces. The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Mechanical Aircraft Technician?

  • Assembles, disassembles, and modifies aerospace systems by altering, removing, replacing, or upgrading components to address failures or implement changes.
  • Supervises the assembly, disassembly, and overhaul processes.
  • Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  • Troubleshoots intricate pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify mechanical or electrical issues and repair defective components.
  • Conducts validation and verification testing of systems and components.
  • Documents procedures and established processes to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards (e.g., repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection outcomes). Inspects components to verify repairs meet flight-worthiness criteria.
  • Operates under general supervision.

What are we looking for in our next Mechanical Aircraft Technician?

  • Proven experience in aircraft structural assembly and sheet metal work.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and working from engineering drawings.
  • Strong hand skills for precise manual tasks.
  • Experience with marking out, drilling, and riveting (solid and blind fasteners).
  • Familiarity with the use of Hi-lock fasteners.
  • Competence in bonding faying surfaces.
  • Expertise in sheet metal fabrication and structural repair techniques.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent engineering changes and updates.
  • Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
