MEP Quantity Surveyor
£50,000 to £54,000 + package
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an MEP Quantity Surveyor to join the regional office of this top tier main contractor in Leeds. The MEP Quantity Surveyor will be working on a variety of mechanical and electrical installations on a variety of projects being run through a large framework. This can include the refurbishments of schools and colleges, healthcare facilities, museums, leisure centres and more.
As the MEP Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working across multiple projects and offering commercial and contractual advice and guidance on mechanical and electrical installations. Some of your key duties will include:
- Prepare activity schedules and analyse tender documents
- Assist with any preparations for delay & disruptions
- Monitor all subcontractor activities
- Oversee the procurement process from start to finish
- Compile and present internal reports on commercial progress across the project
- Assist with the development of junior surveyors on the project

MEP Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity must have a proven track record in delivering mechanical or electrical packages whilst working for a large specialist subcontractor or main contractor. You'll need excellent communication skills and live within a reasonable commute of Leeds. You'll also need experience of working on projects procured under the NEC contract.
