Brief
Mobile Electrical Engineer needed for a well-known Facilities Management organisation based in London who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mobile Electrical Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of diagnosing and repairing faults on electrical systems, components, and lighting.
The successful candidate must have a recognized EITB/CITB apprenticeship as well as NVQ Level 2 (minimum) in Electrical Engineering. Ticket wise - AM2 and 18th Edition is required.

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Mobile Electrical Engineer will include:
- Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems, components, and lighting.
- Maintain up-to-date site electrical compliance records and document all defects/remedial actions.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive jobs using a CAFM system.
- Carry out emergency lighting tests, RCD testing, distribution board inspections, and more.
- Supervise and liaise with subcontractors during service visits and quoted works.
- Support the helpdesk with breakdowns of A/C and refrigeration units.
- Be part of the on-call rota for out-of-hours support.
- Contribute to the production of compliance documentation, quotations, and condition reports.
- Adhere to and promote company SHEQ and Health & Safety policies at all times.
What experience you need to be the successful Mobile Electrical Engineer:
- Recognised EITB/CITB apprenticeship or equivalent training
- NVQ Level 2 (minimum) in Electrical Engineering
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
- AM2 certification
- L8 Awareness (Desirable)
- Competent in reading and interpreting M&E schematics
- Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH or IOSH) preferred
- Experience working with major manufacturer systems
- Valid driving license
