Our client, is a leading producer of malted barley, supplying to Distilleries and Craft Brewers throughout 4 countries, over 7 malting sites. As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the facility, located in Buckie, Scotland.

Job Role: Multi Skilled Engineer.

Location: Buckie, Scotland.

Hourly rate: £20ph, inside IR35.

Working hours: Mon-Fri 08:00 - 16:30.

Position Overview:

From conveyors to water pumps, hydraulics to palletisers, your expertise will be crucial in maintaining and optimising the machinery. This role offers the perfect blend of technical challenges and hands-on problem-solving, all within a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Muli Skilled Engineer Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on conveyors, slew rings, water pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, palletisers, chains, and elevator belts.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
• Implementing preventive maintenance strategies to prolong the lifespan of machinery.
• Collaborating with fellow team members to identify areas for process improvement.

Multi Skilled Engineer Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance and repair of industrial machinery, preferably within a similar manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in conveyors, slew rings, water pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, palletisers, chains, elevator belts, and related equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in engineering or a related field.
