An experienced Planning Engineer at either an intermediate or senior level is currently required for an exciting opportunity based in Leeds within the civil engineering division of a tier one main contractor. The company is a highly regarded organisation that has a rich history in providing engineering solutions to their clients in the UK, they have a strong order book and as a result they need to reinforce the capabilities within the planning team.
The Planning Engineer will be involved on projects throughout their life-cycle, from tender stage through to completion. They will produce competitive tender programmes for a wide range of civil engineering projects across the region that are typically valued between £10-100m and oversee the construction programme at delivery stage.

The Planning Engineer will need to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of civil engineering and experience working within a main contracting environment. Additionally you will be proficient in the use of planning software packages including Primavera P6 and be a team player.
Candidate
- Qualification within a civil engineering discipline is desirable.
- Good knowledge and experience of civil engineering
- Main contracting background.
- Strong knowledge of one of the main planning software packages - Primavera P6, MS Project, Asta Powerproject
- Strong communication skills
