Planning Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning Engineer with a building background to join the busy construction division of a leading main contractor based in Central Belt Scotland. The Planning Engineer will join a highly regarded name in the construction industry who have an impressive pipeline of work across the region.

The Planning Engineer will play a key role in an established and experienced team. They will be responsible for planning projects throughout their full life-cycle, from tender stage through to completion. Projects cover a wide range of build sectors and are typically valued between £10-250m.

This is a hybrid opportunity, the Planning Engineer can be based out of offices in either Edinburgh or Glasgow circa 3 days per week with the remainder working from home.

CANDIDATE

• Hold a construction related qualification - HNC/HND/Degree
• Proficient in the use of Asta Powerproject
• Good understanding of construction processes and techniques
• Two plus years planning experience gained within a main contracting environment
• Excellent communication skills
