Brief
Senior Design Engineer needed for a multinational defence organisation based in Glasgow who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Senior Design Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of design engineering using software's such as IBM DOORS.
The successful candidate would desirably have a degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering discipline.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Senior Design Engineer will include:
- Managing the impact of platform and system change on the Platform Management & Control.
- Liaising with a broad range of key stakeholders.
What experience you need to be the successful Senior Design Engineer:
Essential:
- Current SC Clearance/Eligible to obtain SC Clearance.
- Experience in Serial and discrete interface design.
- Understanding of design principles and approaches relevant to design activities.
- Understanding of Life Cycle Management.
Desirable:
- Chartered or working towards professional accreditation.
- Knowledge of Agile software development process.
- Experience in electrical system design/Combat Systems design.
