Production / Assembly Manager
West London
£45-50k + package
I am currently looking for an experienced Production / Assembly Manager with a solid background of electro-mechanical assembly at supervisory / management level, on behalf of my successful manufacturing and installation client to work on a prestigious telecoms project. You must have a strong background and experience managing assembly or electromechanical assembly and sheet metal fabrication.
Duties of Production / Assembly Manager:
- Managing and developing electromechanical assembly team, ensuring high performance and standards are achieved
- Supporting production, assembly and engineering works
- Ensure product delivered on time and to programme
- Update MRP with production progress, co-ordinating assembly works
- Progress report meetings
- Ensure high standards of health & safety are maintained
- Stock and inventory control
- Identify cost saving improvements / processes
Qualifications / Experience required for Production / Assembly Manager:
- Deree / HNC / HND or equivalent - Mechanical, Production Engineering, Industrial, Construction
- Strong background and experience managing assembly or electromechanical assembly and sheet metal fabrication
- Experienced Logistics and material planning in a fast, high pressure manufacting environment
- Production management systems, tools and techniques experience, including MRP Systems
- Effective communicator
- Strong man management skills
- Fork lift licence highly desirable
- Full driving licence
