An experienced Project Engineer is required to play a key role in provide engineering support to the Project Engineering Lead in the design and integration of a surveillance system for an offshore platform.

So, what will you be doing as a Project Engineer?
- Collaborate with the project team and contribute to the development of a robust system architecture that effectively addresses and project requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive drawings, documents, and relevant information to facilitate the integration of the system onto the platform.
- Engage in effective communication and coordination with suppliers to define equipment specifications and procure necessary vendor equipment data.
- Interface with customers to refine the system solution, gain insights into installation requirements, and provide necessary drawings and documents to support the construction process.
- Produce electrical, wiring, and termination drawings to ensure accurate implementation of the system.
- Produce manufacturing drawings and bills of materials to enable the system to be constructed.
- Conduct rigorous system integration testing to validate the functionality and performance of the integrated system.
What are we looking for in our next Project Engineer?
- Experience of delivering surveillance, telecoms or instrumentation equipment or systems.
- Drafting Engineer Drawings: Proficiency in drafting engineering drawings. Ability to create detailed and accurate technical drawings.
- Electric Design and Test: Proficiency in electrical design and testing. Experience with electrical testing methods.
- Server / IT Administration: Knowledge and experience in server build, configuration and administration, troubleshooting server issues, and ensuring system security.
- Networking: Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols, including IP, TCP, UDP, routing, and switching. Ability to configure and troubleshoot network devices and resolve networking issues.
