Project Manager

Salary: £60,000-65,000 + Benefits
As a Project Manager, you will oversee Urban Energy projects primarily located in Inner London, while also touching the south of England, including areas like Southampton. Your role will be pivotal in managing various construction projects aimed at enhancing energy infrastructure, such as CHP systems, gas boilers, heat pumps, district heating and cooling pipework, and decarbonization initiatives. Your impact will be measured by the successful delivery of projects within specified timelines, budget adherence, and compliance with quality standards and regulations.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Project Manager will include:
- Coordination with Operation Team.
- To work with the planner in order to track, monitor and report project status to senior management.
- To manage the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil project activities, and coordinate with the Engineers, Designers, Planners & QS/Legal teams.
- Carry out project reporting in line with required deadlines
- Identify, monitor, mitigate and manage project and operational risks
- Manage the project to ensure all contractual aspects between us, clients and contractors, ensuring the compliance of all parties, particularly with respect to completion of the project prior to programmed operational start date
- Manage and own the project budgets and produce monthly financial reports with the project QS.
What experience you need to be the successful Project Manager:
- A relevant degree in either Mechanical OR Electrical Discipline is desired
- Experience of delivering multi-million-pound projects with a diverse delivery team
- Extensive Project Management Experience
- Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Commercial /contract experience
- Client presentation /BD experience
- First Aid Qualified
