Project Quantity Surveyor
£58k + car & package
An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the UK's leading main contractors for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their regional business in the North West. The opportunity will give you exposure to large, complex and high value projects and a platform for career development that includes APC support, yearly pay and performance reviews, access to inhouse training and a competitive starting salary & package.
As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working on projects valued between £60m and £300m, some of which will include high rise residential towers, mixed use city centre urban regeneration, high specification commercial offices and much more. You'll be involved from procurement through to final account negotiation with some of your key duties to include:
- Developing the procurement strategy and procure the works in line with cost plans and design details
- Undertaken tender analysis
- Cost reporting
- Preparation of contract documentation
- Issue variations to the trade contractors
- Forecast and monitor cash flow
- Work with the legal team to resolve legal disputes
- Prepare and agree final accounts
The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will be given an opportunity to work on some of the largest projects in the North West for a stable, well regarded leading main contractor in the UK. You'll have realistic goals and targets to reach Senior QS and beyond and the support of an experienced, approachable management team. You'll also be offered a competitive salary & package that includes:
