What the role of the Quality Assurance Engineers entails:

Some of the main duties of the Quality Assurance Engineer will include:

• Write Quality Plans to satisfy Customer Requirements
• Execute projects concerning Quality Assurance tasks and activities in accordance with Quality Plans
• Plan, conduct and report internal audits to standards
• Support less experienced members of the Quality Assurance department in conducting tasks and activities
• Engagement with Project Management and teams on Quality System matters

What experience you need to be the successful Quality Assurance Engineer:

Essential

• Experience of working to EN9100 (AS9100) Quality Requirements and experience of internal Audits. Demonstrable evidence of root cause investigations and supporting implementation of actions to prevent recurrence
• Quality Assurance Planning, Estimating and Estimates to Complete
• Experience of First Article Inspections to AS9102
• Drawing, Document Reviews and Configuration Management

Desirable

• Awareness of APQP/PPAP to AS9145
• Experience of Quality Science tools, e.g. Lean, Greenbelt trained, 8D, etc
• Experience in the following compliance procedures:
• Systems / Safety - APR 4754 / ARP 4761
• Software - DO-178C
• Complex Electronics Hardware - DO-254

In order to be eligible for this role you will need to undergo Security Clearance Background Checks that require you to be a UK resident and UK passport holder.
