Quality specialist needed for a leading global aerospace company based in Bristol.

Our client is looking for someone that can support a defense information and training services programme.
The Quality specialist will also be responsible for providing quality assurance against ISO9001 standards and taking responsibility for the quality assurance and compliance monitoring.

The successful candidate would ideally have experience in the defense or aerospace industry, experience in auditing and root causal analysis as well as demonstrable engineering knowledge and experience.

This Quality Assurance role offers:

Contract - 12 Months

Excellent hourly rate on offer

Hybrid Role - 2 days on site

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Quality Assurance role will include:

• Acting as the primary quality point of contact for national security and defense services on all quality related queries
• Management of non-conformance from cradle to grave including RCCA and verification
• Data collection and production of the slide pack for Corrective Action Board (CAB)
• Work with the quality lead to drive continuous improvement.

What experience you need to be the successful Quality Assurance Engineer:

• Engineering knowledge and background
• Previous experience of Quality Assurance Management
• Knowledge of MAA regulations
• Ideally experience in Aerospace/ engineering discipline
• ISO9001:2015, ISO27001 and ISO44001, AS9100D and AS9110C experience
