Brief
Quality Engineer needed on contract to join an established defence firm in the Reading area.
*Candidates will need either Current DV Clearance, or sole UK nationality to be eligible to obtain. *
What the role of the Quality Engineer entails:
Some of the main duties of the Quality Engineer will include:
- Conducting the Review, Learn and Improve by reviewing the historical data and conducting the critical assessment of any deviations to inform the design of products
- Historical data will include electronic and hard copy files
- Delivering SMART recommendations on refinement of the design process.
What experience you need to be the successful Quality Engineer:
- Mechanical Engineering background is essential
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Previous experience within a Quality Engineering environment
- Knowledge and understanding of Quality Systems requirements
