£50,000 to £65,000 + car & package
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a number of high profile and high value new build and refurbishment projects in Central London. These currently include a large mixed use development, a luxury hotel, student accommodation and a residential tower.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in the delivery of the project whilst also supporting the commercial leadership team with the growth of the team. Some of your other duties will include:
- Management of subcontract packages from procurement through to final account negotiation
- Monthly valuations
- Day to day management of variations
- Provide detailed trade forecasts for each month
- Support the commercial leadership team with managing commercial risks & opportunities
- Offer advice and guidance to the wider project team and support junior surveyors where possible
Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have previously worked for a large main contractor in the UK on large new build or refurbishment projects. You'll need to be commercially astute, have a solid understanding of the JCT D&B contract and have good communication skills.
