Quantity Surveyor

I have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor on a £15m new build project near to Taunton in Somerset. The Quantity Surveyor will be based on the project and tasked with developing a small team of surveyors and working closely with the client through the full life cycle of the project.
Some of the key duties of the Quantity Surveyor will include:
- Sub-contract management
- Contract administration & management
- Providing commercial advice to the project team
- Cost reporting
- CVRs
- Assisting with the personal development of other surveyors

Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have:
- A degree, HNC, HND or similar within a construction related subject
- Excellent understanding of the JCT contract
- Recent civil engineering experience
