An exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor has arisen with a leading main contractor at their offices in London. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be joining a new, specialist part of the business and working closely with a multi-disciplined team who design, contract and manage the installation of all aspects of electrical projects. You'll be working with a wide array of clients including London Underground, Thames Water, National Grid, the Ministry of Defence and many others.
The Quantity Surveyor will working closely with a small team and responsible for their own line of projects with values of up to £1m. These are likely to include the installation of cabling, pipes, valves, lighting, measuring equipment alongside the construction of tunnels, switch rooms, substations and much more. As the Quantity Surveyor, your role will revolve around subcontract management, procurement and contract administration.
Quantity Surveyors considering this role will need to have experience in the following areas:
- NEC or JCT contract experience
- Utilities, Mechanical or Electrical services installations
- Excellent communication skills
