About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor on a high-profile infrastructure project in West London. This challenging and rewarding role will offer you the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a complex and prestigious infrastructure project alongside opportunities for continued professional development.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and managing contract documentation, including bills of quantities, specifications, and contracts
- Estimating and costing construction projects
- Monitoring project costs and identifying potential risks
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project cost targets are met
- Producing regular progress reports and ensuring that all financial information is accurate and up-to-date
About You
To be successful in this role, the Quantity Surveyor will need to have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- A strong understanding of construction contracts and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
