A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure contractor at their smart offices in Liverpool. The Quantity Surveyor will be joining their busy and growing energy business and supporting with the commercial aspects of a programme of electric vehicle projects across the UK. The Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with other team members, stakeholders and the client to ensure each project is a success. As a Quantity Surveyor, some of your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• General commercial management from procurement through to final accounts
• Timely identification of commercial risks
• Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and the supply chain
• Provide commercial and contractual support to the wider internal project team and subcontractors, ensuring all parties are working towards the same goals
• Provide advice and guidance to junior members of the commercial team

Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the electrical, energy or civil engineering sectors
• Good working knowledge of standard forms of contract, in particular the NEC form
• Excellent communication skills
