Are you a Quantity Surveyor or Project QS looking to build your career on a long-term infrastructure framework? We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor/Project Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established infrastructure contractor delivering a Waste Water Capital Delivery framework across South Wales. Based in Cardiff, this role offers stability, long-term secured work and the opportunity to develop within a high-performing commercial team.
The Opportunity
As a Quantity Surveyor / Project QS, you will:
- Report into a Managing QS and Senior QS
- Manage your own packages or smaller schemes within the framework
- Support the commercial delivery of waste water capital projects
- Gain strong exposure to NEC contracts (Options A & C)
- Develop toward Senior QS level
Projects typically include treatment works upgrades, network improvements and associated civil engineering schemes delivered within a collaborative framework environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Subcontract procurement and administration
- Management of Compensation Events under NEC
- Cost value reconciliation (CVR) and forecasting
- Change control and risk management
- Valuations, variations and final accounts
- Supporting senior commercial staff with reporting and client liaison

What We're Looking For
- Experience as a QS or Project QS within civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure
- Working knowledge of NEC contracts
- Strong subcontract management skills
- Experience managing variations and cost reporting
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (preferred)
- Ambition to progress to Senior QS
- Framework or utilities experience is advantageous but not essential.
