An experienced Radar Systems Specialist is required to play a key role in providing high level radar systems expertise for the design, development, evaluation and assessment activities for a range of programmes for clients.

So, what will you be doing as a Radar Systems Specialist?
- Provide system level expertise for naval radar and weapon systems.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers on system requirements, design, testing and performance.
- Provide support to developing novel solutions, such as signal processing, to enhance performance of radar systems.
- Produce quality technical documentation in support of the work conducted.
What are we looking for in our next Radar Systems Specialist?
- Qualified to degree-level (in engineering or closely related engineering subject) or with significant experience gained from working in a similar role.
- Have a strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles
- Have a good knowledge and understanding in working with maritime/naval radar and weapon systems including architectural design, specifications, implementation, test and acceptance.
- Be confident in providing customers/clients with technical and practical advice on radar systems requirements
- Have sound and comprehensive communications skills are required in order to exchange complex information.
- Be willing to travel within the UK and potentially overseas.
