Recruitment Team Leader

Gold Group is a well-established and successful recruitment company based in East Grinstead, West Sussex, with a strong team of over 40 recruitment consultants and delivery consultants.

The Recruitment Team Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating the Delivery Team which plays a key role within Gold Group sourcing permanent and contract staff to a number of major accounts within the business. Working with the Account Managers as well as providing support and resource to help develop other accounts that have been identified as potential large accounts within the sales force. Creating long-term relationships and increasing revenue through these clients. In addition, working with the Senior Management Team and Directors on various account development projects.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Recruitment Team Leader will include:

  • To manage people, taking responsibility for appraisals, and contribute to providing appropriate support, feedback, training and development opportunities

  • Recruitment of new staff monthly providing training and an exceptional onboarding experience.

  • Provide leadership and support to the team, ensuring team and business goals are widely communicated and understood.

  • Ensure coaching and mentoring is provided to all staff on a regular basis, focusing specifically on performance feedback through 1:1's with direct reports.

  • Take ownership and accountability for your team delivering consistent high quality customer service, with the incumbent leading by example

  • Provide timely and accurate communication/reports to management and clients.

  • Build positive and productive working relationships with Account Managers & Sales Consultants.

  • Able to help create the right environment for a team to work in

To be considered as a Recruitment Team Leader you should have the following:

  • Previous Client Account Management & customer service experience within the recruitment industry

  • Previous experience of leading, mentoring or training is essential

  • Possesses a genuine interest in coaching, guiding and developing individuals to help in their career progression

  • Customer focused professional who can develop strong relationships with clients, candidates and colleagues.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to effectively action multiple tasks at any one time

  • Can motivate and lead by example

  • Can build strong relationships and earn trust from Consultants and Account Managers

  • Passionate about exceeding customer expectations

  • Good knowledge and understanding of the relevant team sector

  • Experience in a fast-paced target driven environment

  • Able to manage internal and external relationships.

  • Recruitment and interviewing experience

  • Strong Communication & influencing skills

  • Good problem-solving skills
