We are searching for an experience and ambitious Renewable Energy Surveyor based in Colchester needed for a fast-growing renewable energy company built by local experts with over 20 years' experience installing renewable technologies.
Job: Renewable Energy Surveyor
Location: Colchester
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 Per Anum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm

The Renewable Energy Surveyor must have customer service experience and an in-depth knowledge of renewable energy systems.
Renewable Energy Surveyor Responsibilities:
- Survey and design systems that meet the customers requirements.
- Conduct customer visits, remote surveys or working from plans to measure dimensions of roof areas
- Identify and resolve obstructions that may affect the installation process
- Capture photographs of key areas
- Evaluate potential cable routes between solar panels, inverters, batteries and the home electrical system
- Collaborate with customers to determine optimal locations for the equipment placement
- Complies reports outlining the proposed installation and address any concerns or challenges relevant to the project
- Use the wholesaler portal to generate supplier quotes for necessary components
- Generate draft quotations within the finance system
- Complete proforma report illustrating estimated energy production and financial benefits for the customer

Renewable Energy Surveyor Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Customer Service Experience
- Experience working with Renewable Energy Systems such as ASHP and Solar PV
- Recently qualified domestic energy assessor - Desired
- GCSE Qualifications A-C / 5 O' Levels
