Overview
We're partnering with a leading defence engineering organisation developing high-performance RF and electronic systems for complex, real-world environments. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an RF / Antenna Engineer to support the design, simulation, and validation of antenna and electromagnetic systems across a range of programmes.
This role would suit either:
- An experienced Antenna/EM specialist, or
- An RF Engineer with strong electromagnetics knowledge looking to specialise further
What You will Be Doing:
- Design and develop antenna systems for demanding applications
- Perform electromagnetic simulation and analysis (e.g. radiation patterns, impedance, coupling)
- Support integration of antennas into wider electronic systems
- Work closely with hardware, mechanical, and systems engineers
- Support testing and validation, including lab and chamber-based measurements
- Contribute to technical reviews and engineering documentation
What We are Looking For:
- Background in RF engineering, electromagnetics, or antenna design
- Understanding of electromagnetic theory and RF principles
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g. CST, HFSS, FEKO or similar) or strong willingness to learn
- Experience in electronics or RF system integration
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Desirable
- Direct antenna design experience
- Experience in defence, aerospace, or telecoms
- Knowledge of EMC considerations
- Experience with measurement/testing (VNA, anechoic chambers, etc.
