Scientific Project Manager
6 month contract
£400-£450/day
My client is looking for a Scientific Project Manager, for a 6 month contract. This will be initially working from home and then onsite in an office across the UK. Main offices are based in Cambridge and Macclesfield.
* Candidates must have strong project management / stakeholder management / leadership experience
* Extensive knowledge and experience within the Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance field
* Experience in contract or alliance management
Essential Requirements
* A Bachelor degree (preferably in science/pharmacy/nursing) with relevant experience in a large matrix organisation
* Good knowledge of the drug development process
* Ability to interpret data to develop action plans
* Ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations
* Must have strong personal leadership with demonstrated competency to interface with stakeholders at all levels
* Experience in R&D across all product lifecycle phase requirements
* Experience in process review, management and change management within global systems
* Experience in contract or alliance management
* Be a strong leader and collaborator with the ability to problem-solve, be good in handling conflicts and have strong negotiation skills
Desirable Requirements
* Lean Sigma training or certification
* Knowledge of new and developing regulatory and PV expectations
