Scrum Master
12 month contract
£400-£500/Day
Help patients get life-saving treatment, as a Scrum Master joining a talented team of Engineers developing medical device control systems software for. We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who can facilitate the team's iterations and support the PO in leading the vision and strategy for our control systems software.
We are expanding the team working on the control systems software. The position involves applying Agile Engineering practices, maintaining an environment where the development scrum team can be effective, supporting the relationship with the Product Owner. Technologies include C/C++, C#/.Net, SQL, Real Time Applications on an embedded platform. Design quality is key in this safety critical solution.
Mandatory skills:
- Significant hands-on Scrum Master experience
- Agile experience in Scrum, Lean, Kanban, XP Practices and/or SAFe
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Ability to work with technical teams
- Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships
- Ability to enact change quickly
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Experience in hardware or complex systems engineering strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline
- Fluent in English with clear communication skills.
Advantageous skills:
- Experience with CA Agile Central (Rally) or JIRA and SharePoint desired
- Knowledge and understanding of software engineering disciplines, practices, and techniques.
- SAFe SASM, RTE or other advanced certification preferred
- Previous experience of Medical Devices (or other regulated/safety critical areas)
