Software Architect C# .NET is needed for a leading financial organisation based in Horsham or Brighton, Sussex, who are looking to employ an experienced Software Architect C# .NET with an in-depth knowledge of .Net and .Net Core, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Azure Technologies

Some of the main duties of the Software Architect C# .NET will include:
* Be responsible for the design and assurance of both the current and future suite of applications, along with the associated processes and systems.
* Work within our scaled agile environment to lead collaborate with product owners and product managers to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
* At the portfolio level collaborate in and at the team lead the high-level Features and Enablers specifications
* Collaborate and lead in some aspects with fellow architects and principal developers/testers to promote alignment with the Architecture Governance Framework and associated blueprints and policies
* Input into and in some cases own architectural, security and engineering related policies
* Contribute and in some aspects own the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure in Azure, providing guidance and review from an architectural and security perspective
* Understand all and sometimes define aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
* Lead the Communication all concepts and guidelines to the development teams
In order to be the successful Software Architect C# .NET and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:
* Proven experience as a software architect, with knowledge of .Net and .Net Core, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Azure Technologies
* Experience in software development and coding in various languages and frameworks (C#, .NET, TypeScript)
* Excellent knowledge of software and application design, architecture and patterns (Solid, DDD, TDD, Microservices and Distributed Systems)
* Knowledge of and experience with cloud architecture patterns and related infrastructure, preferably Azure
* Understanding of software quality assurance principles
* A technical mindset with great attention to detail
* A good understanding of application security concepts and controls and how these integrate into the wider system
* Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design, along with Single-Page-Application concepts and associated frameworks
* High quality organisational and leadership skills
* Outstanding presentation abilities
* Customer focused and can present ideas and concepts in user-friendly language
* Flexible and willing to work outside core business hours as required.
