About Us:
Are you an experienced BIM professional ready to take on a leadership role? Join our team as a Senior BIM Coordinator and support our client's BIM lead with stage 5 3D design and clash detection processes using Bentley modelling software. You'll guide teams in resolving design conflicts and improving quality standards, while engaging with the supply chain for the stage 5 delivery of shaft head houses, architectural, structural, and MEP projects.
The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Senior BIM Coordinator?
- Update 3D BIM models to incorporate change requests.
- Run clash detection tests to identify conflicts between structural, architectural, and MEP models. Lead discussions to resolve issues.
- Validate that models and drawings are consistent and provide comprehensive reports.
- Develop clear 3D modelling protocols to support the BIM lead in validating and assuring information exchange.
- Analyse quality problems and recommend incremental improvements using your software expertise.
- Conduct focused software training sessions for the team, aligned with project needs.
- Provide timely support to model authors to resolve technical issues.
What are we looking for in our next Senior BIM Coordinator?
- Experience with BIM coordination for complex building/infrastructure projects.
- Expert understanding of Bentley CDE, clash detection, and model integration.
