A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commercial Manager to join a leading main contractor delivering a £200m infrastructure project on the South Coast. The Senior Commercial Manager will be responsible for all commercial aspects of the project which will include developing a professional site based commercial team, building a trusting relationship with the client and stakeholders and ensuring the project is delivered to the agreed design and specification whilst remaining within the budget.
As the Senior Commercial Manager, you'll be required to demonstrate a high level of commercial and technical knowledge whilst working closely with the site delivery teams to develop techniques and different solutions to meet the projects requirements. You'll play a key role in ensuring there's an effective relationship with the client to ensure smooth commercial progression on the contract and you'll also be instrumental in the development of the site team and supporting the wider senior commercial leadership team.

Senior Commercial Managers considering this opportunity will need to have previous experience working for a main contractor within the infrastructure or heavy civil engineering sectors. You'll need a solid understanding of the NEC contract and experience of managing both pre & post contract duties. You'll also need to be confident when leading a commercial team and willing to assist others within the project with any commercial related queries.
