A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commercial Manager to join a well regarded, top tier main contractor's power business covering a portfolio of projects on the Scottish West Coast. The Senior Commercial Manager will be managing a portfolio of 3 projects within a 90 minute drive of Glasgow and with a combined value of £200m. As the Senior Commercial Manager, you'll be tasked with developing a site based team, working closely with the client and various stakeholders and taking on a high level strategic role across the three projects. This role promises to be a fantastic introduction into the business which in turn will put you in an excellent position to take your career towards a Head of Commercial position and beyond.
The Senior Commercial Manager will need to be have a proven track record of working within the power, utilities or heavy civil engineering sectors and a solid understanding of the NEC suite of contracts. You'll need excellent communication skills and be driven and keen to develop and progress your career. You'll also need to be happy commuting to projects and offices across Scotland as required.
The successful Senior Commercial Manager will be offered a competitive salary & package which includes:
