An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Construction Manager to join a leading main contractor delivering a number of new buildings as part of a major project in the West Midlands. As a Senior Construction Manager, you will be working closely with the project management and site operations teams and taking on a key role to ensure the sound delivery of this high profile, high value project. This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to work for a well regarded, top tier main contractor whilst delivering exciting projects and developing their career in a role with great earning potential.
Working from a busy site near to Birmingham, the Senior Construction Manager will be working closely with the Project Director and site teams, overseeing each phase of the project throughout the full life cycle. Some of your key duties will include:
- Taking overall responsibility for the successful completion of the project whilst meeting or exceeding all contractual obligations
- Monitor the delivery of the projects through the full life cycle
- Lead the delivery of all construction works, ensuring compliance with company wide processes
- Provide solutions to project related issues
- Act as a mentor to the project team and offer support and guidance where possible
The Senior Construction Manager, will need to have experience working for leading main contractor within the UK's building sector on projects utilising RC Frame construction. You'll need strong communication skills and be confident when working with the client and stakeholders alongside a 'can do' attitude.
